EYES
The project EYES aims at exploiting the potential of Social Entrepreneurship and its appeal towards new generations. The project wants to provide young people in the Euromediterranean area with a deepened knowledge and a set of skills on Social Entrepreneurship so as they will find an answer for their own career and the possibility to answer societal challenges at the same time.
The project ideas starts from even more rooted challenges existing in the interrelations occurring among Euromediterranean countries and the young people living in them, wanting to exchange and provide new tools to work on the development of each local society, contributing to avoid uncontrolled mass migration phenomena, brain drain, unemployment and social exclusion.
It is a 24-months project involving 6 countries from EU and southern Meda which wants to provide young people in the Euromediterranean area with a deepened knowledge and a set of skills, based on the Entrecomp model, to create, manage and run successful social enterprises, thus both contributing to the social cohesion and inclusive growth of their own societies, and finding employability alternatives for themselves and for their peers and especially for disadvantaged groups.
With EYES, NGOs and youth workers will be equipped with tools to promote and educate youth in Social Entrepreneurship and sustainable growth. Within the project entrepreneurial practices, Youth work approach and the methodology of Non-formal education will be combined to provide a set of competences useful to build their own social entrepreneurship project.
The specific objectives that the project intends to fulfill are:
- To map needs, ideas, tools and good practices related to social entrepreneurship from Mediterranean and EU countries.
- To develop new educational models to provide necessary skills and knowledge to young people to develop social enterprises and to youth activists and youth workers to act as multipliers.
- To support the creation of local and online cross-sectorial networks working for the creation of new entrepreneurial ventures for creation of new entrepreneurial ventures for creation of social impact.
- To reinforce Euromed cooperation to provide answers to common youth challenges such as unemployment, migration and postcovid reconstruction.
Erasmus +
The EU’s programme aimed at supporting Education, Training, Youth and Sport in Europe. It provides opportunities to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad. EYES is financed under the Youth section of the programme.

Within the 2021-2027 framework, it provides opportunities for Europeans to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.
Erasmus+ has opportunities for people of all ages and targets a wide range of organisations, helping them to develop and share knowledge and experience in different countries.
Specific issues tackled by the programme include:
- Reducing unemployment, especially among young people;
- Promoting adult learning, especially for new skills and skills required by the labour market;
- Encouraging young people to take part in European democracy;
- Supporting innovation, cooperation and reform;
- Reducing early school leaving;
- Promoting cooperation and mobility with the EU’s partner countries;
The project is financed under the Capacity Building action, that aims to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of experience between EU , associated partners and neighbouring countries.
Capacity Building actions are open to any type of organisation active in any field of education, training and youth or other socio-economic sectors as well as to organisations carrying out activities that are transversal to different fields, in cooperation with EU and Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and Caucasus and South Mediterranean regions.

TDM 2000 (ITALY)
TDM 2000 is a non-profit, non governmental organization born in the year 2000 in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, with the aim to provide non formal education and international experiences to youngsters from the area. International mobility, active participation, Non formal Education and personal and professional development are the key aspects of all the activities carried out by the organization.
iED (Greece)
Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is an award-winning Greek non-profit organisation committed to the promotion of innovation and the enhancement of the entrepreneurial spirit. Established in 2005, in Larissa, Greece, iED is a certified leading Center of Excellence in European entrepreneurship and a fast-growing Digital Innovation Hub, registered as a member of the European Commission's catalog of DIHs.
XUL Foundation (Spain)
XUL Foundation is a branch of the communication for social change agency XUL. XUL Foundation was created in 2007 and aims to develop actions of communication for social change and drive social transformation processes that promote environmental and social sustainability, contributing to the collective and participatory construction of a plural, just society, and solidarity. Our activities are based on communication methods that favour new models of partnerships and relationships.
Have a Dream (Egypt)
Have A Dream is an organization that was initiated in 2014 by a group of young Egyptians who were inspired by the rich experiences they had while traveling and dreamed of giving the chance to the Egyptian youth in particular and youth from all over the world to get out of their cocoon and be introduced to different cultures as well. Moreover, we aim to strengthen the relationship between the youth from the Middle East through our different programs.
Seeds (Jordan)
Seeds is an NGO based in Amman, which work on youth, people and land. It's involved in international programmes for youth since 2008, mainly with age between 18-30 years old, at national, regional and international level. Seeds promote the concepts of tolerance, diversity, citizenship and human rights in all their actions. Besides that, they are active to raise awareness of women and youth in their right to access to the Land and use it to develop their quality of life.
Tunisian Scouts (Tunisia)
Tunisian Scouts is a scout organisation established in 1933 with around 44.000 members (divided into 350 scout groups around all Tunisia). It is a volunteer, non-political and educational movement open for all regardless of origin, race, or faith.
The organisation aims to contribute to the development of young people in order to realize their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international community. It is a part of the worldwide Scouting Movement, WOSM (World Organization of the Scout Movement) with over 50 million scouts in 170 countries and WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts).
